So even when families like a set, they ask whether the pieces will fit and whether there will be enough room to walk before they decide.

The catalogue does not answer this; it is usually left to the retailer's experience and a hand-drawn sketch. A 3D room planner gives an answer based on real measurements, right in front of the family.

From room dimensions to a 3D view

• The retailer enters the wall lengths; the floor plan updates instantly, to the centimetre.
• The door, window and radiator are marked on the plan, and products are placed with these openings in mind.
• The plan becomes a 3D room in seconds, and the family sees their room at true size.
• Your products are placed against the walls as true-to-size 3D models and never overlap.
• The door's swing area is checked and a product in the way is flagged. A tape measure checks the distance between any two points, so walkways are verified before installation.

Choosing colours and finishes with the family

Colour and finish are a key part of selling kids' and teen room sets. The collection's colour and finish options apply to every product in one tap, and wall colour and flooring can be changed too. The family compares combinations on screen, zooms in, opens the doors and checks the interior.

If the decision is not made that day, the design is saved under a code. The family can open the room on their phone or in a VR headset with a QR code and walk around it; the design code lets the same room be reopened another day, at another retailer.

One platform from nursery to teen room

Nursery sets, kids' room and teen room collections can all live on the same platform. Your products are added with their own 3D models, dimensions and finish options. When you launch a new collection, simply send its 3D models; after integration the products become available to all your retailers.

From design to quote

The products placed in the room become a quote PDF carrying your logo and brand colours. The retailer can download, print or share it with the family. The room designed in the showroom turns into a quote without filling in a separate form.

How it differs from apps for home users

There are free apps online that let families plan their own rooms; they work with a generic furniture library and are not connected to a sales process. Odaform is a B2B platform set up for the manufacturer: it contains only your products, runs on your brand identity and is used only with your retailer accounts. Every product the customer sees comes from your catalogue, and the design turns directly into a quote.

The platform runs in a web browser; retailers do not install anything. It can be offered at your own branded address or embedded in your website. Hosting, updates and maintenance are provided by Odaform.
